Career

Gustavo has extensive and recognized experience in Corporate Law, M&A, Structured Finance, Private Equity, Investment Funds, Venture Capital, and Project Finance. He serves private, foreign, and institutional investors, multinationals, and companies of various sizes on various matters. Before joining the firm, he spent ten years working as a lawyer at a major firm in São Paulo, eight years as a lawyer and partner at another large firm in São Paulo and worked as a foreign associate at a U.S. firm in New York.

Gustavo possesses a strong entrepreneurial and strategic vision, having worked on transactions across a broad spectrum of industries and sectors, particularly in energy, technology, financial markets, and agribusiness, as well as with international and national clients.

He holds an LL.M. in Corporate Law from Insper Institute of Education and Research (Insper) and an LL.M. from UC Berkeley, California.
