Lucas de Carvalho Silveira Bueno is an associate for the areas of competition, compliance and international trade, with extensive experience advising clients on competition issues before the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE), in addition to experience advising clients on strategic compliance issues, having worked in negotiating Leniency Agreements with entities from the Public Administration. He has international experience working with competition issues at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates, based in Brussels.

Lucas has an L.L.M. in European Competition Law from the Brussels School of Competition (BSC) in Brussels, Belgium, and has a specialist degree in Corporate Law from the Fundação Getúlio Vargas School of Law (FGV-SP). He is co-author of the book “Vertical and Conglomerate Mergers under the Antitrust Lens”.
